Before holly was hung in houses to compliment christmas decorations and lights, it was considered a sacred plant by the Druids. While other plants withered and wilted in the winter, holly remained evergreen and strong, with berries that stayed bright and red in the harshest of conditions. December being Holly's birth month, is how she got her name.

   Born and raised in Seattle WA, Holly Michelle is the 2nd youngest out of 6 kids. Holly came from a broken home and was raised soley by her mother; who worked as an RN while pursing her MBA, and went to school full time.  At the age of 10 years old, Holly lost her father and during that time her mother fell victim to drug abuse. Holly's world was turned upside down going from foster home, to foster home and at the same time being split up from her siblings.  Due to these circumstances Holly was forced to grow up faster then her peers.  When her mother, finally became clean, and regained custody of Holly and her siblings, her mother then passed away about 2 years later, Holly was only 18 years old at the time.

   Being on her own, trying to navigate through life, she found her peace in music.  As a child she always had a passion for it, and found happiness in performing and writing her own songs. 

 

   Continually growing, and mastering  her art, now Holly performs all over the Pacific Northwest, and has worked with many artists such as, but not limited to: June-Onna-Beat, Philthy Rich, and  Joe Blow.  Holly is always looking to collaborate and get creative with new artists seasoned or green.
